07:44 pm - Hey Dubya, bring me a beer!
Several months ago, Burger King created a site called Subservient Chicken where you can have your chicken the way you want it -- doing pushups, singing, watching TV...

Well, now we have Subservient President. Same concept as the other site except that this time, the chicken's name is George. Check it out, and ask him to try some of these actions:

  • Declare war

  • Find WMD

  • Snort cocaine

  • Accept corporate funds

  • Dodge draft

  • Vote for Kerry

  • Dance

  • Provide social security to senior citizens

  • Support gay marriage

  • Pray to Reagan

  • Play with your gun

  • Guns

  • Rip up the constitution

  • How's about that Michael Moore?

  • Put on a mask

Incidentally, Subservient President endorses MoveOn.org for whom John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants (see how this all fits together?) has just finished producing a CD project. The album, Future Soundtrack for America, looks pretty damn good -- check out the tracklist:
  1. OK Go -- This Will Be Our Year

  2. David Byrne -- Ain't Got So Far To Go

  3. Jimmy Eat World -- Game of Pricks (BBC evening session)

  4. Death Cab For Cutie -- This Temporary Life

  5. Blink-182 -- I Miss You (James Guthrie mix)

  6. Mike Doughty -- Move On

  7. Ben Kweller -- Jerry Falwell Destroyed Earth

  8. Sleater-Kinney -- Off With Your Head

  9. R.E.M. -- Final Straw (MoveOn mix)

  10. Bright Eyes -- Going for the Gold (live)

  11. The Long Winters -- The Commander Thinks Aloud (future mix)

  12. will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas -- Money

  13. They Might Be Giants -- Tippecanoe And Tyler Too

  14. Clem Snide -- The Ballad of David Icke

  15. Yeah Yeah Yeahs -- Date With the Night (live)

  16. Fountains of Wayne -- Everything's Ruined (acoustic)

  17. Nada Surf -- Your Legs Grow

  18. The Flaming Lips -- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (live on the BBC)

  19. Old 97's -- Northern Line

  20. Laura Cantrell -- Sam Stone

  21. Tom Waits -- Day After Tomorrow

  22. Eliott Smith -- A Distorted Reality Is Now A Necessity To Be Free
I'll probably have to check it out.
Current Mood: amusedamused
Current Music: Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman as Tony Clifton -- I Will Survive

If I had a quarter for every time someone said this to me, I could um, I could buy almost half of a can of soda.

Beautiful, yes! Colin, that song is now my favourite of your songs. Keep up the good work.

Thank you thank you. At first I felt a little weird about posting that one, so it's nice to know someone likes it.

I have looked at it a little bit, but I was planning on spending more time on it later because I wasn't getting anywhere. I'm not sure if that's poor design or lack of creativity on my part, but I'd be willing to bet it's the latter. If you're truly stuck, I did find a walkthru which might help you. Yeah, I know. I think it's sad, too. I'm gonna try it without the walkthru first because I grew up playing games like this (see my post about 3D killing the kind of games I like), and I'd always download the walkthru for one single thing, and before I knew it I was following it to the end of the game.

I couldn't make Doublya do anything. The most he did was shrug at me once.
Garmonbozia for the soul.
