I'm cold and my head hurts.

Wow. I feel awful.

It's a sort of almost-but-not-quite-the-flu sort of awful -- headache, nausea, inability to hold my balance when I stand up -- and it's not fun. Anyway.

About an hour after my Friday-night post, Sean decided that if he can't use the internet, ain't nobody gets to use the internet. Long calls to various tech support lines eventually resulted in everything being so messed up that nobody could connect to the cable modem or to the DSL. He finally sorted it out this afternoon, and I logged on to find almost thirty new advertisements in my inbox.

So what else is new? Well, Saturday night, Ellen and I met up with r3507, the_apricot, devianttouch and wendybyrd at Luther's Blues to see Da Vinci's Notebook. The show was a helluva lot of fun, and Ellen, who had never heard of them before, had a great time. It's a shame they don't plan to tour anymore, but I'm glad I got to see this particular show. I just wish I'd arrived ten hours early to get a table.

About halfway through the show, I started to feel kind of physically uncomfortable, but I stuck it out. Ellen had to be up at 8:30 this morning, so we ditched Rocky Horror. By the time I was on the way home, I was feeling a little better, and decided that I was just tired and fatigued. This morning when I got up, though, I felt pretty bad. My head aches, my back and neck are stiff, and I foolishly decided to take a walk anyway. But the time I got back, I was ready to collapse. I've spent most of the day in bed, and right now, doped up on a couple of different over-the-counter meds, I'm feeling good enough to post in my livejournal, but that's about it. Obviously my judgement's not in a pristine state, since I just finished voluntarily watching The Magic Christian.
