And while I'm plugging my personal projects, I may as well mention that I've signed myself up for the RPM Challenge. I heard about this yesterday on NPR (listen to the story here). It's similar to the National Novel Writing Month exercise, but this one's for musicians. The challenge? Put together an album in 28 days. They define "album" as "ten songs or 35 minutes," and I'm going to have to do the 35 minutes thing because I can crank out short, instrumental pieces like nobody's business. I could have a ten track EP recorded by Monday, but it might only be 14 minutes long. You can view my profile there, but there's literally nothing there just yet. I'll probably update it later, but I'm not very good at putting profiles together, so I couldn't say when. It would be nice if they'd house the works in progress for the public to listen to, but apparently I'm supposed to blog there about my progress, and mail them the completed project before March 1st, at which point they'll rip the audio and stick it in an online jukebox. That'll be interesting.
