11:05 pm - Imitation is the sincerest form of plagiarism
I don't know why, but I've been listening to a lot of Mono Puff over the last couple of days. You guys know Mono Puff, right? No? Bloody savages. Anyway, I got all ambitious today at work and decided to arrange a cover of Lullaby to Nightmares. When I actually got home, I ended up doing something else entirely, so on Thursday I'll be posting my brand-spankin'-new instrumental cover of What Bothers The Spaceman? I'm really really happy with it.

Expect to see me rave egotistically about my own work again on Thursday.

I've only heard one Mono Puff song ever. I think it was called "I Hit My Head" or something. I was slightly amused, but mostly uninterested at the time.

Wow, despite the fact that I just called everybody bloody savages, I'm somewhat amazed that somebody has actually heard of Mono Puff.

The song is called Unsupervised (I Hit My Head) and comes off their debut album, Unsupervised. The song, which is pretty much straightforward guitar pop might not be the best way to judge their work, since between their two albums most of the music is '70's-style funk.
