It's not unusual at all for DVD subtitles to contain inaccuracies, but the ones for Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV contain extra profanity.

I find that very amusing.

Oh, and some of the dialogue has been transcribed as military time ("Oh my gosh!", for example, reads "00:07:15 13:24:06"). I don't get it either.

As unfond as I am of Troma films, that one might be worth watching for the subtitles.

Not really -- I didn't mean to imply that the subtitles were good. It's more like they're messed up. Perhaps they were typed by someone who wasn't paying much attention to the movie.

It is a fun movie, though, once you get past the usual conventions of Troma. Merrie recently lent me another one of their movies which I'd almost like to recommend. It's a mockumentary called Lollilove, and is about a very poorly thought out charity project. The only thing it has in common with other Troma films is the actors.
