|10:23 pm - Couplea musicy things:|
1. Remember on Friday when I posted that link to my page at MyJonesSoda.com? They had some technical difficulties over the weekend, but it's working now. Descriptions and better artwork are probably coming soon, but at least there's some music up there, and you don't even have to register to listen to the streaming audio. Free registration gets you the ability to download MP3s. Check it out.
2. offBeat Acappella is performing on Thursday, December 8th at Edgewood High School at 7:00 PM. We're learning You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch for this performance, so come and hear me accidentally transpose the third and forth verses. We'll also be at the Mill Street Inn & Pub in Cambridge on the evenings of the 1st and 15th of December, as well as Stella's Speakeasy in Stoughton on the 9th. More about all of these shows closer to those dates.
That's it. You want me to write more exciting posts? Give me something to be exciting about.
Oh, and incidentally, is anybody else having difficulty receiving their LJ comments, or is that just me? I have mine set up to be delivered via e-mail, but most of them simply aren't getting there. This happened for a few days last year and then they inexplicably all showed up at once several weeks later.

Yes it is happening to me as well. Its getting very irritating too. I wonder whats up with LJ.
Well... In two years of using LJ I've never seen a problem that didn't get fixed, but they do happen. Here's hoping it gets cleared up soon.
Well I just sent a request to LJ letting them know whats going on. They gave me a tracking number for my Question along with a url to use it.
I will keep you informed!
Do you guys get paid for any of the gigs you do or is it just for fun?
And yes, LJ is all fucked up.
Usually. We sang at Steep & Brew for free, and Edgewood will be free (with donations accepted, of course). The bar in Stoughton will be a paying gig, as is the restaurant in Cambridge. Of course, they're still getting on their feet financially after a change of ownership, so we're getting paid in gift certificates.
What time will you be playing at Stella's? Andrew will be out of town and I will be away from him for more than a few hours(3 whole days) for the first time in 4 years. I love Stells's and I want to hear you guys again so I will definatly try and come down if its not to crazy at work that I have to stay. Remind me as it get closer. If its later in the evening I'll definaly be there.

It would be cool to see you in the audience. As far as I know, the show is at 7:00, but I'm not positive, so I'll verify that when I find out. I've never been to Stella's, and honestly, it doesn't sound like my kind of place, but have you ever been there? What's it like?
We (a group of undetermined size) will put the Edgewood performance on our calendars. I will poke others who might be interested.
Much appreciated. It'll be cool to see you guys there.
Well, actually, we probably won't see you there since it's a big theater and the lights will be shining in our eyes, but the point is that we appreciate the support.
