You know that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you've made plans to hang out with somebody, and she confirms the plans via an e-mail that ends with "Also, I have a couple of things for you," and you know -- just know -- that they're copies of Watchtower magazine?
Yeah, I hate that.

I wish people "had things" for me...but that never happens to me. The only thing even remotely close is when I go to Jim's with his copies of Red Dwarf...and those have been coming back to him one at a time.
As much as I like it when people have things for me(as in objects, not crushes (which (usually) I like even more)), it's not so good when they're trying to turn me into a Jehova's Witness. Which is definitely what's going on here.
Yeah, that would piss me off too.

And there I was trying to figure out why you weren't looking forward to a magazine based off of Stephen King's Dark Tower books.
It could be a crush. If I understand correctly, if you become a Witness you'll be able to date.
I didn't know Colin was 27+...
What else have you guys been keeping from me?
LIES! LIES! ALL LIES!
I wont believe it!
[I]f you become a Witness you'll be able to date.
That's true. Gosh, I hope it's not a crush. I have no interest in becoming a Witness, or in dating this person, for that matter.
GRRRR... haven't these people heard of "once [and only once] then back away, lest you turn people further away from what you are attemting to turn them toward"?
Actually, this is the first time, but it's not a conversation I'm looking forward to. If she doesn't understand the concept of "once and only once," I'm sure it'll show up on my journal in the future.
ahh well if it's the first time, it's forgivable than :)
