Wedding day

Tell your friends! Tell your enemies! Tell your friends' enemies!

offBeat performs once again this Thursday evening! Seven o'clock at the Mill Street Inn in Cambridge, WI. We'll be doing selections including Sister Hazel's Change Your Mind, Leo Sayer's You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, Louie Prima's Angelina, and an excerpts from John Cage's 4'33", which we'll be inserting between songs*. We just learned "Weird Al" Yankovic's Since You've Been Gone, so maybe you can hear offBeat's premier performance. We'll see.

Those looking for a map will find it here. And if anyone's coming from underneath the big clock at the corner of 5th Avenue and 42nd Street, I've found you driving directions.

Um, in other news, I really have to kick my packing into gear for the upcoming move. Tonight I'm going through my books and deciding which ones I can keep and which ones should go. It shouldn't be so difficult, but they're books, you know? Sure, I'll probably never finish The Trial, and I'm too embarrassed by the title of Bill the Galactic Hero to be caught carrying it around in public, but I might read them someday... I'm writing this post right now to avoid looking at all the books.

* Kidding on that one, in case the John Cage estate happens to find this.
