Wedding day

Game links to get you fired:

In November, Atari will be releasing the Atari Anthology, which will feature 80 classic Atari games, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I read about it here, via Fark.com. Personally, I'm much more interested in the Atari Flashback which appears to be coming out around the same time. The Flashback is a simple console system which plays 15 games from the 2600 system, and five from the 7800. Know what this means? It means that once again I'll be able to play the original Desert Falcon on (almost) the original, carpal-tunnel inducing 7800 joysticks. My hands ache in anticipation. My only wish is that they would also rerelease Dark Chambers and maybe Ballblazer (just for the soundtrack). Maybe if the Flashback sells well...

For those who can't wait for November:
  • Play the original Lemmings online, featuring the same MIDI soundtrack I used to hum to myself in Social Studies class in like, 1992.

  • This site contains (fairly) faithful reproductions of several '80s vintage games. evil_jim, check out the Spy Hunter clones. I've a feeling that you might find what you've been looking for.

  • Looking for a nice, wholesome game of Simon? This isn't the place to play it.

  • Come to think of it, Condom Games at the Lurve Lounge will probably not score points with your parents, either.

  • Live out your fantasies of being Indiana Jones, except two dimensional and missing most of your facial features in Crypt Raider.

  • RapidMotion is a pinball game which is powered (apparently) by "FAG."

  • Drunk Men Work Here features all kinds of games, but their Qix is fantastic.
  • Current Music
