Wedding day

"No one in the world ever gets what they want, and that is beautiful."

Yeesh. Things are not getting easier. Nobody needs to know what that means.

Work today was mostly uneventful, and I'm still worried about the near-future state of my job. Perhaps I should, you know, see if I can go out and do something with my programming degree. Meh. I don't know. We'll see what happens at work over the next week or so.

This afternoon I put together June's MP3 of the Month, These Doors Are Open. It's a nice trip down Memory Lane to a simpler time when PC game soundtracks were all done in two-channel, 8-bit, frequency-modulated MIDI and-- No, I'm kidding, but there's definitely something about it that makes me think of side-scrolling lo-res VGA platform games. We'll see if I'm as pleased with it tomorrow.

Anyway, finished up the MP3, had an awkward conversation, and went to see my sister. I'm told that apparently everybody's life is in turmoil right now, and I'm supposed to take it in stride. I guess I've been trying to do that anyway. That's enough for now. I'll be in a better mood in the morning.

Wedding day

HOLY SACK.

Sorry, I know I just posted, but xoshua just told me to turn on the TV, and this is worth its own post:

Shauna was on

Extreme Dating

tonight.

That's right, Ribs. Shauna. Shauna Shauna. On TV. REAL TV. Real bad TV. I don't know what else to say.

Her parents must be so proud.
