Wedding day

Due to lack of interest, Monday has been cancelled.

So on Friday night, I went to see Broom Street's new Halloween show with Ribs -- it's a comedy called "Frankenstein, Schmankenstein!!! I'm Making a Freakin' Monster!!!" It's not the second coming, but it's pretty entertaining, and all in all a good directorial debut for Ron Collins. And hey, it's got The Time Warp. How can you go wrong with The Time Warp (the answer is right here)? Anyway, at $7.00, the price is right, so you oughta go see it. Hey, it's cheaper than a movie, and has more occurances of the word "schmankenstein" than any movie I've ever seen.

The film festival on Saturday went okay. It got off to a later start than planned, and this is a bad thing, because it usually gets off to a later start than planned. They've been pushing back the start time every time that happens, and but if they think I'll show up at 5:00 p.m. for twelve hours of movies, they're sorely mistaken. Nevertheless, we saw Titus, Frida, and Shallow Grave, which were all really good. Presumably they also watched About Schmidt and The Hours, but I took off at about 1:00 a.m., so who knows?

What else to tell? I dunno, I guess that's about it. Presumably, I'm getting paid today, and I'd like it to happen soon so I can deposit my check over my lunchbreak. Just thought y'all oughta know that.
