...and on the way home I picked up a peach pie, this being March 14th and all.

That it's peach is irrelevant. It's the fact that the date is 3/14.
If you can't figure it out, take some pride in not being a total geek.
There's nothing wrong with being a total geek.
Happy Saint Fuglin's Day(s) later this week.
So how come it's two days, but they just call it St. Fuglin's Day, singular?
Because where they founded the day, they sun never sweats(Sets). SO it became a two day celebration by accident, but it still goes on this way. Or at least Granny Bacon says it so.
Oops. I'm on Liz's computer.
I bet you can't wait for 2015, huh?
Try as I might, I can't figure out what you're talking about. Am I going to feel stupid when you tell me?
Yeah, but then you will only be able to celebrate at 9:26 in the morning.
So, the geeks/nerds/dweebs/interested parties will have a minute of celebration every hundred years. Is that too much to ask?
In other words, unless you're really lucky, this happens once in a lifetime.
What do you mean "lucky?" You probably miss out on cake both times for lack of teeth.
My question is, why would one be eating cake on Pi Day?
