12:29 am - offBeat, Thursday night @ Mill Street! Also, who wants to see a play?
I should probably mention at this point that offBeat Acappella is performing this Thursday night at 7:00 Mill Street Inn & Pub in Cambridge. This performance will be your last chance to catch my version of You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch before next Christmas, so be sure to cancel your pressing affairs and come see us!

Also... Does anybody want to see the new play at Broom Street Theater? Calen Harty's A Wake presents "a day in the life of an Irish death." Numerous friends of mine are involved in the show, and I'd like very much to see it. Seven bucks, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through February 19th. The reviews are positive so far (well, there's only one, but it's a good one), and (knowing the people involved) it promises to be a good time.

If any of you are interested, let me know. I wouldn't be surprised if I go multiple times, nor would I be averse.

What are the chances that you could be persuaded into recording your version of "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" for those of us unable to make it?

Well... I dunno. I could bring my microcassette recorder (since I've been wanting to do that anyway), but it's not going to yield a great recording. We're going to buy some studio time to record a CD soon, but we probably won't record that one since we more or less stole the arrangement from Rockappella (which means that if you downloaded by Christmas mix, you got other people singing the same parts).

Bah, not the same. Paint yourself green and have Ribs video it or something.

Or, like, don't. But let the record show that I showed clear interest in hearing this.

Well, don't say I didn't offer.

I might paint myself green, but there will be no video. I don't trust you with images of me.

Unfortunately I work Thursday night, but!!! I can go to the play Saturday night. I get off work at five, which must be enough time and I've been dying to see a new play. Pick me! Pick me!

Consider yourself picked.

Yeah, I'd love to go on Saturday night! Play starts at 8:00 and I don't have other plans for Saturday, so we can either meet there or get together before hand. Invite other people if you like (I'm going to). I'd like to go to Rocky Horror afterward, just so you know.

I would also be available Saturday for the play. I actually was interested in seeing it since it was mentioned at 667. It sounds appropriately inappropriate for Broom Street.

Cool. If you get to talk to Lindsay before I do, hammer out the details with her (I'm free all night). Otherwise, we'll figure it out closer to Saturday.
