12:14 pm - Yes Virginia, there is a free lunch...
...and I'm eating it right now, thanks to some guy named Tim who walked off with my food.

Briefly, I'd ordered lunch from Uno's and was planning on picking it up. Somebody else named Tim had also placed an order, and when the server asked if he was Colin, he must have misheard her and said yes. He paid and left with my order, and when I showed up they had to put a new one together for me. I tried to pay for it, but they insisted on taking care of the cost.

It makes me wonder what Tim must have thought when he was paying for his food though, because when I came in, they thought I was Tim and tried to ring me up for $21. Did Tim not notice that he only got charged $7?

Perhaps the $14 difference was why he posed as you. Congratulation on lunch. It sounds better than mine, which consisted of a ham sammich and canned beef stew.

If there was a $14 difference then Tim probably was picking up lunch for more than one person and arrived to pissed off people who didn't get any food.

Tim's lunch (which they tried at first to give to me) consisted of two big pizza boxes, whereas I had only one small one. I'm sure his coworkers were thrilled when he came back with a single small pizza and a bowl of soup.
Yes Virginia, there is a free lunch... - Garmonbozia for the soul.
