|09:02 pm - Like, rawr, or something.|
I had today off from work, so I wasted it. It's nice to do that every once in awhile.
Anyway, weekend update (and I'll try to be brief):
Friday night Ellen and I got together. She had a game to cover earlier in the evening, so we got together a little after 9:00. Didn't do nothin' special, but it was nice to see her. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday night (though her actual birthday is today) by having dinner at Red Lobster. Then we went back to her place and I set up a NES emulator on her PC. She played Where In The Hell is Carmen Sandiego? until like, 1:00 in the morning. Good times.
Last night I went to april_tehe's party, but I was too tired to really have a good time. I did enjoy seeing everybody though (even Becki and Nick). Went home and didn't go to bed. I'm so glad that I had today off. Did I mention that? I did? Okay. Well, anyway, no matter what I've done the night before or how late I've been up, I generally wake up around 7:30 when I don't set an alarm. Such was the case this morning. I got up around 9:30, did a load of laundry, got a call saying that Offbeat would not be practicing tonight, and then wondered, as I wrote this post, where the day went.
Nope, can't figure it out. But hey, as appreciation for your reading this whole thing, I'd like to offer a link to a couple of pictures of Bill Gates lookin' all sexy-like in 1983 for Teen Beat Magazine. If you look closely, you can see his 5.25" floppy.
Alright. I'm off to watch something lousy, then go to bed. It'll either be Hot Shots! or Dark City, depending on which one's shorter. I already know the answer, but I have to double-check because I'd rather watch Dark City.
The Great LiveJournal
Outage of 2005
During the outage I stapled bacon to stuff and blamed it on Moofasa.
What did you do?
Brought to you by geek-foo
Current Mood: lethargic
Current Music: Depeche Mode -- Never Let Me Down Again (Aggro Mix) (which sounds a lot like Seek200 by InSoc...)
No, no -- I'd rather watch Dark City, but I'm in a mood where I'd rather watch whichever one is shorter. As it turns out, Hot Shots is 85 minutes, and Dark City is 96. It's been awhile since I've seen it and I was expecting closer to two hours. I'm watching Dark City anyway.
As to Mr. Gates, his may be the least clipped-out and hung pinup ever, but I'm sure this is the most sought-after back-issue of Teen Beat ever. That's not saying much.
Why do you always have to staple me to random things? I'm almost out of blood!
Oh man, I'm sorry. I'll let you have some of mine.
